His Path
Imed founded Cynapsys Software Engineering, which grew into one of Tunisia’s recognized technology firms before its acquisition by the French group GFI (now Inetum) in 2018. He went on to lead Inetum Tunisia (formerly GFI Tunisie) as CEO, then headed Get’IT, before founding Hydatis in 2020 to build a new kind of technology company — one built on international delivery, AI-driven engineering, and long-term partnerships with the institutions it serves.

His Vision
Imed believes artificial intelligence should strengthen human capability, not replace it — technology is a means to make people and institutions more capable, not a substitute for judgment and expertise. He is equally driven by questions of digital sovereignty: the conviction that African and Tunisian institutions should build and control their own critical technology, rather than depend entirely on external platforms.
