Hydatis is a French-Tunisian IT services company delivering outsourcing, custom software, AI & data, and cybersecurity projects for clients in France, Europe and Africa. We’re looking for a Backend Developer to design and build robust, scalable services around our clients’ Java ecosystems.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• Design database schemas and optimize queries (relational and/or NoSQL)
• Contribute to microservices architecture and system design decisions
• Write efficient, well-tested, maintainable code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience with Java and the Spring / Spring Boot ecosystem
• Good understanding of API design, SQL, and unit testing (JUnit)
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as part of your daily workflow — required for this role
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus
